Project “Medical Support for Military Personnel and Persons with Disabilities with Urological Conditions in Ukraine”
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, the number of patients requiring urological treatment has increased critically.
Unfortunately, the current state healthcare funding system does not fully cover the cost of treatment for this category of patients, particularly in cases requiring minimally invasive, high-tech, or multi-stage surgical procedures.
Where and by Whom the Medical Care Is Provided
Surgical procedures are performed at the
State Institution “O.F. Vozianov Institute of Urology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”
by a team of highly qualified urologists led by
Honored Doctor of Ukraine, PhD, Oleksandr Serhiiovych Vozianov.
Project Goal
To ensure that military personnel and persons with disabilities suffering from urological conditions receive timely, modern, high-tech, and minimally invasive surgical treatment and rehabilitation.
